Chris Barreto’s Brazilian roots are expressed by the use of a vibrant and colorful palette. Striking graphics feature heavily in her work; recalling the sign language of Brazilian’s indigenous people mixed with modern day Pop Art and Urban Graffiti, giving it a spiritual and bold statement. Her fashion designs are handmade and crafted with traditional techniques.
