CJ Franco the celebrity designer behind the brand talks about its inspiration. "I was working in catalogue and fit modeling and noticed a pattern of shortcuts common in the lifestyle apparel industry. Apparel is generally a male dominated industry, and while it’s common to cut corners to save money, as a woman, I know how important it is look and feel good in what I’m wearing." She says 

CJ "It struck me that women; willing to spend an entire paycheck on an outfit for a single event, will often settle for mediocrity in the quality, fit and style of the garments that they wear on the day to day. I wanted to provide my customer with the option of wearing flattering everyday clothing with the same attention to detail that is normally reserved for more formal clothes. Realistically, I know we don't have the time for tedious wardrobe changes; so my line also needed to be versatile enough to take her effortlessly from the gym to the grocery store, the café… and wherever else life takes her."
