In an industry where many filmmakers spend years trying to complete a single feature film, Samuel L. Pierce has already built an entire body of work.

As the founder of Electric Shock Productions, Pierce has spent the last several years developing, producing, directing, writing, and starring in a growing slate of films, steadily transforming a youthful passion for storytelling into an emerging production banner. Before reaching the age of 20, Pierce had already completed four feature films spanning science fiction, comedy, sports drama, and action, each serving as a stepping stone in the company's growth.

What makes the journey notable isn't simply the number of films completed, but the progression from one project to the next.

Each production expanded the scope of what Electric Shock Productions could accomplish, helping the company gain experience in development, casting, production, marketing, distribution, and audience engagement while refining its identity as a creator of commercial, character-driven entertainment.

The Beginning: The Future of Us

Every company has a starting point, and for Electric Shock Productions that foundation was The Future of Us. The sci-fi featue marked the company's first major step into long-form storytelling and proved that a young creative team could successfully take a feature film from script to screen. More importantly, it established the blueprint for what would follow: ambitious storytelling, hands-on filmmaking, and a determination to complete projects regardless of the obstacles involved.

The film follows a group of young people whose lives become intertwined with the possibility of altering the future, forcing them to confront the consequences of choice, destiny, and the impact their actions may have on the world around them. Blending science fiction concepts with character-driven drama, the project laid the foundation for ESP's future interest in ambitious genre storytelling.

For Pierce, the film represented more than a debut. It demonstrated that the dream of building a production company could become a reality.

“The Future of Us was the project that proved we could actually do this,” says Pierce. “Before that, filmmaking was an ambition. After that, it became a reality. We learned how to solve problems, finish a feature, and take something from an idea on a page all the way to a completed film. Without that project, Electric Shock Productions wouldn't exist in the form it does today.”

Expanding the Vision: The Get Rich Quick Scheme

With one feature completed, Electric Shock Productions immediately set its sights higher.

The Get Rich Quick Scheme, an '80s-inspired comedy starring Pierce as the lead character Micky, expanded both the creative and commercial ambitions of the company. The project introduced a larger production scope and brought valuable experience in distribution, promotion, theatrical exhibition, and audience outreach.

The comedy follows Micky and his eccentric group of friends as they pursue increasingly outrageous money-making schemes in hopes of striking it rich. Filled with misadventures, questionable decisions, and nostalgic humor, the film embraces the spirit of classic comedies while exploring friendship, ambition, and the unpredictable consequences of chasing easy success.

While audiences enjoyed the film's humor and nostalgic energy, the production itself became a crucial education in the business of filmmaking.

“The Get Rich Quick Scheme was where I really started understanding that filmmaking doesn't stop when production wraps,” Pierce explains. “We learned about distribution, marketing, audience engagement, and everything that goes into getting a film in front of people. It pushed us creatively, but it also pushed us to start thinking like a business.”

Finding Heart Through Sport: Off The Line

The company's next evolution came through an unexpected arena: competitive inline speed skating. Written and directed by Pierce, Off The Line followed a determined young athlete pursuing a chance to compete on one of the sport's biggest stages. The sporting drama allowed Electric Shock Productions to explore more grounded, emotionally driven storytelling while maintaining the ambition that had defined its earlier projects.

The film centers on Mark Stevenson, an aspiring inline speed skater who, alongside his friend Jake Flyer, embarks on an intense journey of training and self-discovery in preparation for the prestigious European Grand Prix 24-hour race. Guided by a coach facing struggles of his own, the story explores resilience, mentorship, teamwork, and the sacrifices required to pursue greatness.

The project demonstrated that ESP could successfully move beyond genre filmmaking and deliver stories centered on character and emotional connection.

“Off The Line was a very personal project because it allowed us to tell a story grounded in discipline, perseverance, and growth,” says Pierce. “It wasn't just about the competition—it was about the people behind it. That film challenged us to focus on character and emotion while still delivering something entertaining and inspiring.”

Raising the Stakes: Jack Harrison: Rogue Protocol

If The Future of Us established the company and Off The Line refined its storytelling, Jack Harrison: Rogue Protocol signals where Electric Shock Productions hopes to go next.

Currently the company's most ambitious production to date, the sci-fi action feature expands into larger-scale world-building, action-driven storytelling, and franchise-minded entertainment.

The film follows Jack Harrison, a young commander within the secretive Earth Security Service, an organization tasked with protecting humanity from extraterrestrial threats. When a conspiracy threatens to expose the agency and shift the balance of power on Earth, Jack finds himself on the run, navigating betrayal, hidden agendas, and dangerous alliances as he races to stop a threat larger than anyone imagined.

For Pierce, the project represents a significant leap in both creative scope and commercial ambition. Combining science fiction, action, suspense, and larger cinematic set pieces, Jack Harrison: Rogue Protocol reflects the company's growing desire to create entertainment that can appeal to wider audiences while laying the groundwork for future intellectual property opportunities.

“Jack Harrison: Rogue Protocol represents the direction we're moving toward as a company,” Pierce says. “It challenged us to think bigger in terms of world-building, action, and scale. We wanted to create something that felt ambitious and cinematic while also laying the groundwork for future opportunities and larger intellectual property.”

Looking Ahead

Together, these four features tell the story of a company learning, adapting, and growing with every project. What began as a young filmmaker's determination to complete a feature film has evolved into a production company developing a broader slate of film and television projects. Electric Shock Productions is currently expanding into new areas of development, including additional feature films and a television series, while continuing to seek strategic partnerships and larger production opportunities.

Reflecting on the company's journey so far, Pierce remains focused on the future.

“Electric Shock Productions was never just about making one movie,” he says. “From the beginning, the ambition was always to build something bigger than a single project. Each film has been a step toward proving what we can do, learning the business, strengthening the company, and preparing for larger opportunities.”

For Pierce, the first four films were never intended to be the destination. They were the foundation.

“When I look back at these four films, I don't just see projects—I see milestones,” Pierce says. “Each one taught us something different, and each one made the next film possible. That's what excites me most. We're not building isolated movies; we're building a company. The films are just the start. The vision is much bigger.”

And if Electric Shock Productions' first chapter is any indication, the company is only beginning to discover what comes next. To find out more about Samuel L. Pierce visit IMDbInstagramFacebook and the Electric Shock Productions Website.
